What compels someone to consider becoming a writer?

They have to obviously have a gift for being able to pen their thoughts/ imaginations/ ideas in an engaging way.
I always think something like that is a calling.

@SW-User What's in it for the writer? Is it your calling?

@Unlearn For the writer it's satisfaction of being able to share all that is there in their soul/heart for the audience. And they make money off it.

Haha, I don't know yet. It's been suggested many times, I'm very resistant to it right now.🙃

@SW-User you come across as a curious and observant person...both qualities are desirable in a writer.

@Unlearn I have it in me to write. I'm just resisting it for some reason. If the calling comes, it comes one day and I might get there.
