If you keep switching dentists, do you have to let your old dentist know?
If you haven’t been to the dentist you went to in years but decided to switch to another one where they get pissed off? I would be pissed!

No, the new dentist will request your records be forwarded to them. Neither of them should be annoyed, it’s simply business & your prerogative to choose where you receive your treatment
