How do you define intelligence?

To me intelligence is a measure of how fast they can process information. Almost anyone can memorize a bunch of facts given enough time. However, it takes a truly intelligent person to take information in, process it, and then use it to solve a problem and garner a deeper understanding of said information. It's incredibly rare to find.

Sounds like a good definition.
