Do you get on better with the ladies or the fellas?
I'm a lady but only seem to get on with the guys.
At work. I find the women there talk in code and riddles.
It's very cryptic.
Example: A manager had a complaint about how to complete a task instead of just saying could you do x. She decided to criticise.
"Some people claim to be doing this but they only do B and think it's sufficient".
She said this within earshot but she also wasn't talking to me (another manager). So I heard what she said and continued to ignore her. I know she expected me to enquire but I wasn't and I'm not interested. Especially if you don't address me.
I have no understanding of why she feels to behave this way. And it often feels like a bullying tactic.
But she explains who she is regularly, ie he husband didn't want to take her shopping to help with the food etc, she asked for money, said she cooked and left rice for him to eat with leftover meat, but she put extra salt on the rice before she left knowing he'd only take from the top of the pot. Anyways the food was too salty for him to enjoy, which only led to his upset. The money she used to pamper herself, massage, hairdressers and pedicure. When she got home she ate the same rice but took it from the bottom of the pot which wasn't salty.
She found this funny.
I did not!
The guys I work with we laugh, we joke we share ideas, there's even hi fives, fist pumps, just real joy when we see each other.
These ladies don't know how to approach me, as I don't them.
