@LadyBronte very curious ... being from Wisconsin, the cheese capital of the world (unofficially - I made that up) ... I am not familiar with this practice.
where is this popular!?

@StrictLoving upstate New York, the TRUE cheese capital of the world. 😀
StrictLoving · 56-60, M
@Makinmd no it isn't.
and if you truly loved cheese, you would not tolerate this barbaric practice! 😅
or even if you justly appreciated apple pie!

@StrictLoving It has to be extra sharp cheddar cheese. It stimulates the palate more than ice cream or whipped cream on apple pie. Not so much with other types of pies.

@Makinmd no. God and the Dairy Council frown on this.

@StrictLoving did you know that during the 1930s, the Chicago Board of Trade set cheese prices using the price of cheese from Cuba, NY? Cuba Cheese outsold the state of Wisconsin at that time.

@StrictLoving It's been popular in the Midwest and Southern states for as long as I can remember. It is delish!
StrictLoving · 56-60, M
@Makinmd Sure, everybody knows that 🙂
That's why New York is America's Dairyland!
