I am older than most and I find "that word" offensive. I also find identifying men solely by sexual organs offensive.
It is (I think intentionally) a reductive word, diminishing a woman to one part of her being, and it is used that way. When one participant in a disagreement has exhausted their limited vocabulary, that's the weapon of choice.
To the best of my knowledge, I have been called that once, by someone I did not know and had not ever talked to, here on SW. I don't know if offended is the word, but I was angry, and then I quickly realized that such a person was not worth my time and energy and all I had to do was block them, which i did.
I consider it an ugly word, used by ugly people. I know some others don't regard it that way, but I do.
