How can you tell me to f*ck off and then say you'll be there for me right after?

I was told by someone I used to consider a friend that I am too negative, a drug addict and that I need help. They pretty much told me to go kick rocks and then said they'll still be there for me. How the hell can you tell me all that and then turn around and act like nothing happened?
