How can you tell me to f*ck off and then say you'll be there for me right after?

I was told by someone I used to consider a friend that I am too negative, a drug addict and that I need help. They pretty much told me to go kick rocks and then said they'll still be there for me. How the hell can you tell me all that and then turn around and act like nothing happened?

Whether they are right and you have these problems, I cannot determine, but it sounds like they simply wanted to be honest with you.

@SW-User I don't think they intend to be rude. I think they see these things happening with you and they are trying to warn you.
