Yes, I live right on the coast so I’m there most days. Just have to go slightly further up the coast to this beach which stays quiet and not touristy. Are you enjoying the heatwave? @BalmyNites

@SW-User Ditto, I’m right on the Devon coast, but I tend to go to the beach more so when it’s off-peak. We’re inundated with tourists at the moment, especially with G7 & Royals down here

Oh that sucks, I’m the northumberland coast so don’t get anywhere near as many tourists. Still winter and sunrise are my favourite times to be on the beach because most times I’ll be the only person @BalmyNites

@SW-User The people down here aren’t happy at all, a lot have deliberately shut their shops until Thursday, in protest at G7 & all the special treatment for the rich wigs to have a party, under the guise of saving the planet. They have closed roads to locals & restricted access to certain areas, people don’t take kindly to that, especially when it’s affecting their livelihoods & seemingly it’s ok (as usual) for politicians & dignitaries to travel around the country/world for a party when the rest of us have been abiding by lockdown rules & old Boris is now bleating about the Delta variant & saying we’re probably not going to be out of lockdown on June 21 😬🤨

Yes!! It’s such a good part of the coast and don’t get anywhere near the tourists that the south get. Although there’s a few at the minute because Harrison Ford is here filming Indiana Jones @Majorlatency
