Being made an example because you see and do things differently

Would you mind if people chose to make and example of you for choosing to do things in a way you find is right for you... and goes against a group of people?

I've gone up against a whole department and proved they were wrong about me.

@eyeno Thank you. People forget that just because a group sees things a certain way does not make them right or their actions right...even on the job.
