I love it. I frequently shop at Gimbels, JJ Newberry, McCrory’s and Roebucks then finish the shopping day with a malted at Woolworth’s.

I just joking, I was wondering if anyone would recognize those names. If you’re ever in Asheville, NC there is still a Woolworth’s facade on Haywood street. I was passing it and almost hit another car due to the double take! [image deleted]It’s an art gallery now but it still has the terrazzo floors, the oversized fluorescent bulbs and the bullseye air conditioning vents in the ceiling and the luncheonette. @Stereoguy

This was ours back in my old home town.Long gone now.[image deleted]A friend of ours was over Christmas of 2019 and baked a delicious ham and brought his own electric knife to cut it up. It was still in the box and I said, “No way!” and snapped a photo of it. Note the name on the bottom.
