Is it bad that I learnt how to drive a while back and now I don’t want to anymore?

I get anxious when I get on the road. My dad said it’s time for me to get back in the road and learn to drive. I know the basic stuff but the drive part will take time. But it cost money I don’t have money to pay car insurance. So my relatives have been bugging me when I’m gonna learn how to drive again. Yesterday my dad blurted out, “You need to learn to drive! I’m tired of driving and it would be nice if YOU drove me some places for once! There’s going to be a day that I won’t be able to drive anymore! Your brothers know how to drive so it’s time for you to get back to practicing. No excuse!” He sure never keeps quiet about it. I just don’t want to learn anymore. I don’t want people depend on me on rice and use me. I don’t want to get killed out there. I overheard my dad saying that he might want to get me a car but I want to get one myself. My older brothers told me it’s time that I learned again and they’re willing to teach me over the summer. I hate taking the bus sometimes but I’m willing to take it for a while or like Uber or whatever. My friends (that don’t drive) might end up depending on me for rides. I don’t ask my dad or anybody for rides. Either walk to the store or take the bus or take Uber.

At first I didn't want to learn how to drive either. I lived in a major city with good Transit and I was fine with that. When I got married my ex pushed me to drive, and now I'm glad he did. I now live in an area that doesn't have good Transit and it's too far to walk to where I need to go.
They are good reasons to learn how to drive, but do it when you're ready to learn.

@QueenandCrown Oh wow. My dads and my brothers are really pushing me to drive. Even my friends kept asking me if I got my license yet.

@ElizabethBabe1994 Yes mine did too, but there are a lot of people who don't know how to drive and they make it just fine.

@QueenandCrown Okay. I just wish they would just get off my back a bit. Yes I will drive. I do want to get my drivers license it’s just that I feel like I don’t want to right now. And the scary part is I don’t want to drive in the freeway.

@ElizabethBabe1994 When I first started driving I avoided the highway all the time. But once I had to get on it I realized there was nothing to it.
