My old Dad had a Morris 1000 with them laughable today a passenger walked into one of them and snapped it.

@stratosranger Yes they were fitted to a lot of old cars problem was they were easily broken by people walking into them and prone to stop working.

@stratosranger Yes a very interesting function, they wouldn't be any good in car parks where people brush by cars without looking I think they had to go and go they did.

@senghenydd They were only extended when in use,when not in use they would just fold out of the way.I think they look good and should come back.

@srxwat4 My Dad had one break someone walked into it and it was an expensive to get replaced I remember there was a fuss about it.
