All the answers I could think of are already listed so going to go off the mark a little and say suicide doors.

@acupaday Some newer vehicles still have them, rolls Royce is one example.

@eyeno I’ve noticed it’s a feature for some of the upscale cars. Still a classic feature for me though.

@acupaday ya.., I thought they were so cool too. Imagine driving down memory lane in a chopped 34 ford, loud rumbling engine and rumble seats.

Yeehaaa.., life is good!

@eyeno See, newer generations wouldn’t even know what the term “chopped” means. A different time, man. Love it.

@acupaday Hehe.., are you a gearhead too?
acupaday · 46-50, F
@eyeno Eh, I wouldn’t call myself that. I grew up going to car shows so have always had an appreciation for Detroit muscle.

@ChemDawg Channeled is a term I’ve probably heard, but can’t recall the meaning of. Laced is a term I heard a ton about because the one thing my dad enjoyed more than working on cars was customizing them. The last truck he owned even had the lace technique painted on it. One year he had it painted like the flag. But they never topped the Batman logo on the back windows of our station wagon. I called it the Bat Wagon 😂

@acupaday Wow.., back in the days..., Wow!

Rare, but whenever I run across a woman who's working on their own vehicle I'm totally blown away!

Hope to chat with you again Ms. Heart (hugs)

@ChemDawg Sooo cool! Finding the pictures this close after moving is impossible, but I have some pictures of my dad and his buddy restoring a 34 coupe. It was flat black with flames. Pretty nifty. He was big into Rat Fink so those hot rods were his favorite.
