Radio presets! Heck most didn't know how to set them back in the day!
Double clutch! Would love to see most now double clutch up a hill! 🤣
Any seatbelts at all! 🤷♂️
No head rest!
No driver side or passenger side outside rear view mirrors.
No cup holders!
Outside Radio antenna that slides up a down.
Seen them only. Rumple seat!

@DeWayfarer I had an 81 Aries back in 92 til like 97 and it had no passenger door mirror. Apparently that was an "extra".
Plus, it had only an AM radio with one scraggily speaker in the front dash.
It was identical to this one.
Of all the cars I have owned, I miss it the most. I sold it for some reason that I still do not remember.

@Punches moms 64 comet didn't have any out side mirrors. She sold to my brother. Forget what he did with it.

@DeWayfarer I love older cars. They just had a personality that you don't find in anything built after the early 80's.

@Punches my fist car that I bought in 1979 was a 72 Datsun B110. Bought it cheap because of all the hail damage.
It was the precursor to all the Datsuns later.

@DeWayfarer Typical early 70's styling.
My 81 Aries was actually my third car. Long story about the first two, but the Aries was the first one I owed for any amount of time.

@Punches my second was a practical tank! Traded my Datsun for a 72 Mercury monarch station wagon! Even trade.
What a total beast that was! 440 V8. 🤣
All solid steel.
