I have a predicament

So I went though an old practice test that was due originally like 3 months ago. I was just doing it to study for the final. I did better on it now than I did before and it changed my grade. Idk if I should email my professor or not.....I don't want him to think I'm cheating or something...but then I wonder why he would leave it open this whole time👀
