What if a supervisor said you can't go past the pedestrian stop sign at work and she said they could fire me?

It would depend on whether it's during your working hours and whether what you're doing is illegal, a breach of your contract or if it brings the company into disrepute (over here this would apply regardless of whether it's during or outside your work hours).
