You ever meet a friend's new dog who is nice to their own but can be a terror to strangers? And YOURE the stranger? Its so tense and scary

You feel like you're held hostage by the dog. You can't made any sudden movements or really even move at all! Lol.

I went to a house of a guy I used to work with, and it's me, him and his small dog in the room. He's petting the dog, I go to pet the dog the same exact way and it starts biting me. He didn't see it happen, I didn't say anything, but that was the last time I went near the dog.

It didn't hurt and didn't leave any marks, it wasn't a hard bite, but all I saw was hand engulfed by teeth and pulled my hand back.

@twiigss not talking about a small dog!

When I moved in here, we were not permitted pets. Just over a year later, and we have four dogs in our unit. One of them is snarly and snappy to everyone but the owner, especially if you are wearing a mask like management requires us to, and all I was doing was getting my newspaper!

I wish they would get rid of the animal.

Yes give the dog time to get used to you .
But if he senses fear or if you make any sudden moves it may be a problem.

@Driver2 dogs can sense fear easily! I sat on the couch and didn't even move while the dog acknowledged me, I can tell she was weary of me. and I was scared as hell LOL
