The fifth of November came to mind first.
Things I’ll never forget tends to be the things that impacted me a ton on each end of the good/bad spectrum. It’s like my mind takes the intensity my heart feels and makes a notation of it. My dad taking his last breath is one of those moments, along with seeing the ocean for the first time. And to mix it up, my mind retains the hell out of lyrics to 80’s songs.
