It isn’t up to a government, religion, or the court system largely controlled by males to weigh into this issue. This is a privacy issue, a personal issue, and a women’s issue.

I will not respond to any comments on my feelings about this. This is my opinion, and while you are entitled to yours, I could care less about it. State your opinions on your own original comments.

@Fauxmyope2 This is incorrect, the child isn't just the woman's
@Rolexeo It’s only inside her body. Only she risks her life and sheds her blood, so the decision has to be hers.

@bijouxbroussard If that's the case then the father should have the option to opt out of supporting the kid if she does decide to have it. Since it's her kid, and not theirs
@Rolexeo The point where a man has control is where he lets his “seed” go. The point where a woman does is in preventing a fetus from developing into a child. No one who is truly pro-life would argue that a man should be able to punish the child of a woman who chose life instead of abortion.

@bijouxbroussard Ok, so if she wants an abortion it's hers. But if she doesn't it's theirs because money. That's a ridiculous double-standard. And leaving the kid is much more tame than killing it
@Rolexeo An abortion is basically the removal of a zygote or cell cluster that is not yet a child (here what they call “late term” abortions are mostly illegal unless to save the woman’s life).Abandoning a living and breathing child, or abusing it, that’s potentially actually “killing a child”.

@bijouxbroussard This is equivocation, you're calling it one thing when it benefits you and something else when it doesn't. The two are identical. It has a heart, brain, eyes, etc
@Rolexeo How does any of it “benefit” me ? I have no problem with the idea of limiting the time involved, and as I said, at that point of development (late term) in most places terminations are only done to save the woman’s life. I’ve witnessed a couple of abortions, best friend and sister.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@bijouxbroussard Benefit your argument I meant. I have no issue with an abortion if the woman's life is on the line.
@Rolexeo The bottom line is, banning abortions won’t prevent them. They’ll just be less safe for desperate women and girls who seek them.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@bijouxbroussard I'm not arguing for a ban on them. I just think they're immoral in most cases

@bijouxbroussard youre right! And they will be put in potentially life threatening situations
