It's killing a child
@fvckit You don't know anything about biology. Sad really sad
fvckit · 41-45, M
@Pitchblue she asked for my "true thoughts" dickface
@fvckit Proving you don't know anything about biology or the law. You feel the way the Republicans taught you to feel.
fvckit · 41-45, M
@Pitchblue I'm not republican. It's not a political thing. I value life or potential life, whether it be a child in the womb or a loved one in a coma... every life
@fvckit I respect that. You would have a choice to remove a family member from life support you might choose to continue life support because of your beliefs.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Pitchblue coming from you mouth instead of reality because your supposed perceived racism is projection 🤷🏼‍♀️
@fvckit Can I ask, does that also mean you’re against the death penalty ? That too, is a life before the state ends it.
fvckit · 41-45, M
@bijouxbroussard I'd have to give that one a think. At the moment, I'm having a hard time lumping a baby in the womb or a 46-year-old woman in a coma from a car accident in the same category as someone who had gruesomely murderer another or is sexually deviant
@fvckit Understood, but it’s still a living human being.
@fvckit Children are killed in warfare, too, so you must be anti-war. Or all you care about are fetuses?

@LeopoldBloom If you want to kill children that's on you. But don't create straw man arguments against people who value unborn babies
Slade · 56-60, M
@LeopoldBloom Airtight argument!
scalenemaia · 36-40, F
@fvckit It's nobody's business but the mother's. EVER.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Pitchblue what has that got to do with biology. Abortion is killing an unborn child. Changing the word doesn't change the fact. Abortion=murder
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Pitchblue God's word taught me. "Thou shalt not kill"
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
@Baremine So you oppose the death penalty? And military action of any kind? And using a gun in self defense? Or are those types of killing ok? Serious question, BTW, because I’m interested in how you interpret that commandment.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Harmonium1923 ssgt usaf. War is hell. The Bible teaches if man kill man by man shall his blood be shed. Be damn sure you are right. Although in self defense I would rather us my stun gun if he had a gun I would use mine. All three of these situations are not the same as murdering and unborn defenseless baby.
fvckit · 41-45, M
@LeopoldBloom I am anti-war in fact... For the reasons we fight wars. Is there a war or conflict since wwii that hasn't been for political or profitable gain?
fvckit · 41-45, M
@bijouxbroussard I'm sorry. I have thought about this since your comment. Splitting the anus of a child by fucking them... I do not value the perpetrator's life. It may not be for me to say, but a man that would destroy a child's physical body and the child's emotional well-being for their entire lives... Their death does not bother me at all. An innocent baby, within the womb of the baby's mother, I have a tremendous amount of hope and encouragement.... That's where I stand. I know it sounds like I'm playing God, but the op asked for my true thoughts. There, you have them
@fvckit So you’re not consistent in terms of the “sanctity” of life. Suppose that predator rapes a 12 year old girl and she becomes pregnant. Preventing her life from being ruined while she spends nine months carrying her rapist’s baby ? Pregnancy is difficult and childbirth is scary enough when you’re an adult and looking forward to being a mother.
scalenemaia · 36-40, F
@fvckit No it bloody isn't you moron. It is removing an unwanted parasite. I had mine really early -12 weeks - there was no way that was a viable life with out me and it didn't have my consent to be there. AND don't blather on about birth control -I was taking the pill - it turns out a huge scam resulted in my NHS Trust prescribing the pill but what they were actually giving out [unknowingly] was merely aspirin! It made the local papers and TV news. They never found out the brains behind the scam but dozens of women were in the same situation as me...

@scalenemaia @scalenemaia Say Hi to Jacques for me
fvckit · 41-45, M
@bijouxbroussard sorry for the delayed response. I'm not on sw nearly as much as I used to be. I once did quite a bit of online debating in regards to my faith. Never once had I changed a mind, nor have I even considered changing mine. This topic is very similar. In your example, I can only imagine the toll pregnancy takes on a woman or a child at that. I maintain that neither the 12 year old or the baby had done wrong. I see no moral grounds for killing the baby. Whether in the womb or waiting until the baby is born and suffocating the child with a pillow

With that said, I don't cry out "death sentence" for every criminal. The rapist should be held accountable for his actions, however the law sees fit
@fvckit It’s not inside your body. It will only ever be theory to you. I’m pro-choice because it has to be the choice of the woman involved—she risks her life to give life, so for a man to insist she carry a pregnancy she doesn’t want is the height of misogyny and oppression. And it’s pretty arrogant for a man to insist on “moral grounds” when he has no commitment to a child’s welfare once it’s born (and the so-called “pro-life” are notoriously unconcerned about funding social programs, affordable education and healthcare to enrich those lives once the child IS a living, breathing person).
