Is it true that next year or so food will be more expensive

In Australia with all our border restrictions we haven’t had the usual international workers/students that travel out rurally to help farmers harvest their crops. Meaning massive wastage on some farms as they can’t keep up or entice local workers in. Or they have to pay more which then reducing their profits and so on. That’s just one example I can think of

It always is but yes next year will see a spike in food prices. Too much money chasing too few goods happens.
