Find the carotid or brachial pulse , listen for breath sounds with a stethoscope, properly apply and monitor a tourniquet , temporarily seal a sucking chest wound , apply sprints and immobilize a bony fracture , apply a C collar , deal with cuts, burns, and lacerations . Identify and aid heat stroke patients, recognize a CVA ( stroke ) , I can call 911 ...And I can accurately shoot or dissuade anyone trying to harm me or my family . Other than that . They are on their own .
