Fun fact for the day

You know how there is this big debate on which way to load the TP roll... Over or under?

Most people will tell you OVER! ARE YOU HEATHEN?!

And there is a reason for that....
TP companies have convinced most people that OVER is the golden standard in TP rolling satisfaction.

They spent a lot of time and money marketing it this way. Basically using propaganda and subliminal messaging to get as many OVERs as possible. Weird flex right? Well, turns out, rolling OVER can use up to 30% (that's THIRTY for those who are bad with numbers) extra paper than going under...

TP companies realized that by rolling under you saved (around 30%) TP. So by convincing us to go OVER they have tricked us into wasting more TP, therefore causing us to buy more...
Pretty wild huh?

Still debating if I am an over or an under.

@Threepio Thanks for the BC.

I'm kind of a "Patent Nerd" and just explained the TP patent to my "under" child the other day so I knew exactly where to find that article when I saw your post....LOL

I'm neither over or under, mine lives on the radiator being gently warmed...

I don't understand how you use more under. I use what I need.

Still an over! YOU CAN’T CHANGE MY MIND WITH YOUR WITCHY WAYS!

I'm in the pick up the roll and unravel category.
There's a corner of the counter where the roll sits.
A habit brought on from my previous living situation where the roll pretty much had to be on the counter.
I wasn't going to buy a stand alone toilet paper holder thingy.
I am definitely an over. So much easier to find the end in the dark.

It’s OVER. End of discussion.
