Kind of. I do it to occasionally limit my feed to people who post things I find interesting. Sadly, this place isn't usually busy enough for me to need that.

@Turtlepower so when you are “friends” with people that means they are going to be periodically showing up in your feed?

@DeluxedEdition yeah the feed has settings to filter out people you aren't friends with. Sometimes it's handy.

To be honest with amount of people on here , they would not know how this website works . I was on ep from 2013 until it shut down . This is pretty much the same. You want to know more hit me up.
