It seems Trump is already changing his mind on Obamacare

Lol, that's what happens when a politician wins who had no platform or plan in HOW to change it. It's on CNN now and I'm sure on thousands of other sites.

Say what he has to to get himself into office, and then go back on his voters wishes

It is going to be so much about nothing on many issues.

That's what happens when you vote for buffoonery, bluster, and bullshitttttt.

All talk until he wins!

the ACA was not etched in cement. It was a start, a platform to build on. The past 6 years the Republicans have refused to engage in improving it. They could have as they want to make other laws and programs better. They just didn't want to give this to Obama.

Now that they have power, they can hopefully improve it for the benefit of all, where they refused to help do so until they got their own person in the White House, and could take credit themselves.

In any case, like any huge program, they are living entities which should be changeable for decades and beyond.

well said !

Maybe if the Dems hadn't passed it without our input we might have helped get a good bill. No it will be dismantled. It isn't a good plan. And you're right, we won't give it to Obama. Our values and goals take precedence over making Obama look good.

@lastbabyboomer: they did nothing about health care ever!

And now they see political capital in it. Hey if it exists in any form, I don't care who takes or gets credit, but future administrations and future Congresses should always be open to making changes for its own good, and the good of the people who need it

@CassandraFemale17: They didn't let us have any input, so now they won't get any.

@lastbabyboomer: Hahahaha do your research....

So that's the Republican plan - eliminate The Act and the public is fucked? Cuz you're still butt hurt bout it being passed.
TheProphet · M
There will be something better to replace it.
@lastbabyboomer: it was initially Romney's plan and the GOP admired it when he rolled it out. The only input they were willing to give Obama, was "no" to the same basic plan. So they did have their say.

@doctorlove: they won't replace it with nothing. If they did they would lose millions of votes.

But as Republicans it will have to make a lot of profit for their donors and friends. Watch for it to be revised in favour of how the lobbyists will wring as much cash out of it as they can for themselves and their clients.

@bijouxbroussard: 100% correct.

Gold sticker for YOU!

Lol - in fairness, that probably wouldn't be much of a change at all ;)
