Maybe the royals aren’t all that bad. The British government gets the profits for properties owned by the royals (last year $350M pounds)

and pays the royals about !5% (last year around 67M pounds a large portion of which was spent on way overdue repairs on some of the crumbling castles and most of the remainder was spent on good will and works worldwide). We could use some deals like that here in the US.
