Just A Brief Insight....
...into what it's like to be a teacher these days, and also being a child.....
Our daughter was jumping for joy before she went with me to school....meeting her friends at the school gate, with the other mums....it was really lovely to see.
Then...on the flip....my wife came home from teaching the children yesterday....came in, grabbed a glass of wine....and started crying.
I gave her a big hug...and we talked.....she was just relieved over getting the kids back...seeing their faces....and seeing some of them have had a few issues with this whole pandemic....
It makes it real...That's what it means to be a teacher and a child these days in the UK...
