Sometimes the simple things are always the best!

It’s 1:45p here and this afternoon is absolutely gorgeous. It’s in the high sixties and so Spring like. Even the sunlight and air. I was close to my house and made a very simple lunch of Albacore tuna with mayo, s&p on untoasted potato bread with cream of chicken soup. I was so reminded of a comfort lunch by my beautiful Mother. It really was a deja vu experience. I could literally see her there, preparing everything. I could feel her and wanted to speak to her.

Like a great grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup, I truly love the simple things and pleasures of life. I would not have traded this experience for a hundred dollar lunch, today. I’m so grateful and at peace.😊🌷

@BalmyNites Awww, thank you so much. It’s funny because I am at our family lake house this weekend and I am feeling the same senses. With you and others responding this morning, I’m having this same experience of all of us being here and having so much fun! I’m not ashamed to tell you that happy tears are flowing down my face.

I remember some of the happiest days of my life here. I had overnight guests and am getting ready to make a wonderful, American Southern breakfast.

I am thinking now of the love and upbringing that my parents gave me.

As always, my Mother, is on my shoulder helping me to do everything, the right way. I always wanted her and my Dad to be proud of me and I feel them with me, as type this.

I am so happy now and wish for everyone to have the best Sunday ever!
🤗💜💐

@BalmyNites My Mother was French and had so many talents. She taught me so much. My Father and Grandfather were businessmen who taught me how to succeed, while helping others too! I truly have had a very blessed life. There is so much that I could tell you.

My parents were very successful. They instilled in me a sense of always giving back and paying it forward. Everyone, I ever knew and even today, talk about my parents. They were so good together!🤗💜
