I'm starting to.
I've decided to start taking my medicine again, even if it makes me manic, because that is far better than being overwhelmed and paralyzed by anxiety and depression. No matter what my husband says.
I am leaving an abusive relationship, and I have an incredible, supportive boyfriend I thank God for everyday❤
I started going to church again, doing morning devotionals, and exercising too. Along with making healthier food choices.
Today is the first time I feel like it's helping, but it's gotta start somewhere 🤷

Thank you ladies. Some days are real hard. My head is all messed up, I had no idea how bad. But I'm taking it one day at a time, and making progress ❤

@SpoiledRottenPassengerPrincess What do you do on bad days to get you out of that loop? (please only answer if you are comfortable).

@SW-User I talk to people who ground me, that helps a lot. My boyfriend, my best friend, my brother, and my domestic violence advocate all are incredibly patient, loving, and supportive. When that doesn't work I read sad poetry, listen to sad music, and cry, knowing I'm not alone.

@SpoiledRottenPassengerPrincess what is a domestic violence advocate???? are u in the states?
SpoiledRottenPassengerPrincess · 36-40, F
@Elevatorpitches I am in the states. It is someone who helps people leave abusive relationships safely. The one who is working with me works with the police department. I was connected with her when I asked the chief of police if I could bring him my husband's gun to have it disabled so he wouldn't hurt me or himself when I leave.

@Elevatorpitches where are you? Call a woman's shelter or a domestic abuse hotline. There are tons of resources and so many people out there who want to help you!
