I take long hot baths with epsom salts, I meditate, I keep a gratitude journal almost every day, I keep an eye on my thoughts about myself and others, I try to eat well, or at least eat! I'm mindful of the tension in my body and stop to relax when I notice myself tensing.

Even with all this I still have bad days and times when life feels overwhelming. The care of friends is important to get me back on track and believing in myself again when that happens. I'm grateful for what I have and that, I think, is paramount.

@KuroNeko That's a brilliant self care routine you got.

On a side note, Epsom salts. I keep forgetting to buy that.

@SW-User I buy a sack of it every few months. Gets pretty expensive to buy those little bags. I like to add a good mug full!

@KuroNeko I usually use Himalayan Salt, also a huge mug worth but Epsom salt has different properties and I've been meaning to try it for a while. I used the fragranced ones a while back and yeah they get expensive.

@SW-User It's supposed to be very good for immune support, as is a hot bath. I have to say I don't suffer with many colds since I've been using it, and I work in a school so I need all the help I can get lol
