@LucyFuhr: That is a very valid point. I do like your philosophy posts. I really hope that a certain percentage of all posts that people make would be about something serious.
@LucyFuhr: Oh I'd say that's the best definition of what EP became does anyone recall the free messengimg service on EP that then went to pay only ? Why can't we chat on here in real time ? I guess funding its not a technological issue :/
@2cool4school: I find that different people feel more comfort at openness than others and hear the default setting is not hidden. There can be so much intrigue in learning about others that many will get nosy!
@LucyFuhr: @2cool4school: It is sad what EP became at the very end it just seemed to be a bunch of trolls and teens that were out of hand. I do hold a lot of hope for the promise that Similar Worlds can be with legitimate support and discussion groups.
@2cool4school: @LucyFuhr: I saw the admin and action yesterday and I am very impressed with technical capabilities. I do find them very serious about their support of this website and have a vision for the future. Anything that we had over at EP I'm sure will be replicated over here.
@Pfuzylogic: I like it better than EP so far, although it was a different place and time when EP was first created, a shame they "let it go" like they did.
@sweetpea: So true. I miss chatting now it's messages only I hope that changes I caught the last two year gasp of EP we always wondered though is this the experiment project ?
@2cool4school: EP just used us, they had no intentions of doing anything about the sick things going on there in the end. I was glad to leave, I could breath fresh air again!
@Pfuzylogic: Yep I got that feeling ESP by the islands of users in the world on its site. Only seemed to be known in certain countries like it was a trial run ?
@2cool4school: They weren't very transparent about the true mission. I did notice that they were normally the first listing on a Google search. Either that was paid for or a very strong connection with an important service. I would be curious to see any data that might have been collected!
