@Poptartinvasion: well, I guess I was lucky. I loved my work and my clients. I'd still be working if I hadn't injured my knee and couldn't do the work anymore.

@Serenitree: yeah, I don't really like retail too much it probably would be different if I enjoyed it.

@Poptartinvasion: oh I hated retail and office work. Oddly enough, I found my niche, when I started my own business, house cleaning and child care provider. Super busy schedule, especially when I did them both on the same day. But it was like being a mom again.

@Poptartinvasion: I never knew I loved cleaning. But I always adored children. It worked out well for me. I started the business when I was 34 and retired 35 years later, at 69. Before that, it was always jobs I didn't like. Office, retail, or waitressing.
