A house vs apartment.

I absolutely hate neighbors. I don't want to be near them, I don't want to see them, or hear them, or share anything with them except the public road. I vastly prefer houses. I want control of my living space. I want to be able to build stuff on land I can call mine. I want to put up shelves and repaint the walls.

I currently live in an apartment and I hate every second of it.
