I will share the honest reasons that even though I enjoy going to my native Falakata why I can't live there for more than days.

Falakata is one of my native place in West Bengal where my grandpa(mom's dad) lives and we go there to meet him. I have lots of childhood memories there and also some crazy recent memories too but still nowadays I can't live there for more than 3 days.
1) The main reason is that we now live in Bangalore which is a big city in Southern India, so I became more habituated to the city life compared to the lifestyle of small town/village like Falakata.
2) In my grandpa's house in Falakata, there are big spiders because so many trees around his house and they are my childhood phobia so I feel scared that while sleeping in my grandpa's house, a big spider might jump on my face. If it happens I would probably get an heart attack hahaha.
3) Internet is very slow there especially in my grandpa's house which is a village area. Gone are those days when I was a kid and used to just enjoy seeing the trees around and go to market with my grandpa. Nowadays I can't imagine being without internet.
4) The toilets there are mostly small and not really clean plus I already feel scared that I might see a big spider. Many times I have seen spiders in toilets of my grandpa's house in Falakata and it was very scary.
5) For some reason, whenever I eat anything there, I feel my stomach heavy idk why. Maybe because I feel scared as long back in 2010, when I just got into 5th grade, we went to Falakata and ate some spicy food there and got a bad acidity. I got bad stomach ache and vomiting. It was so bad that I was taken to the hospital there. It was a very scary night and I still fear that what if something like that again happens again. Hospitals there aren't good like Siliguri.
But even after these, Falakata will always have a special place in my heart.

Big spiders sound nasty. I have arachnophobia too.
