I will share the main reason why we never been to the place called Naxalbari.

Naxalbari is a small place in Northern part of West Bengal, India which is around 27 km from my native Siliguri. I have seen the name of the place written on buses which goes there and also heard my parents talk about it but we never been there. Thats because we go to our native for only around 10-12 days. We have to stay in Siliguri with my grandparents for at least a week and then also go to Falakata to meet my other grandpa. Falakata is already around 110 km from Siliguri. The way to Naxalbari from Siliguri is completely opposite to the way to Falakata so it will make the journey very inconvinient. Naxalbari is almost near the border of Nepal and is 127 km from Falakata which is even more compared to the distance between Siliguri and Falakata. Also we don't have any relatives there too. Plus there aren't really any good places to see there so we don't waste time going there as we had to return to our city Bangalore too
