If you felt out of place in a crowd, would you try to fit in or would you exit?

Maybe I'm making this too complicated but define "out of place".

@SinlessOnslaught out of place would be something like.. Out of sync with them. Different agendas even.

@SW-User I would probe them to see if they can handle someone who's different, and if not, I would exit.

@SW-User Just watch their reactions to things I do and say. I've studied nonverbal communication since I was 12 so I'm pretty perceptive about that.
