I got another question what's your opinion

Is letting someone who persued you know that you like them but you're in a relationship wrong ? Would it be more acceptable to just tell them you're in a relationship but omit the fact that you like them too?

Like them as a person or like like? Not wrong to let them know but not sure if meant to like another while in relationship
