How do you handle someone correcting you with false information?
They just refuse to even admit when they are wrong 😤 it’s so aggravating.
Organized crime had been my passion since I was a CHILD. I blame my mom for letting her bf watch The Sopranos with me.
I once had a discussion with a “man” who was trying to argue that the Cali Cartel was based in California (which is a lie because they are from Santiago de Cali COLOMBIA) and were founded by Pablo Escobar (Cali was actually founded by Miguel and Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela, and Jose Santacruz Londono- later allowing Pacho Herrera to become a godfather). He also gave Pablo all the credit of the Medellin (which in an insult tbh he was a major player but he completely ignored Griselda Blanco- who gave modern Colombian kingpins their platforms, Jose Gacha, and the Ochoa brothers who were also very important key players in Medellin).
It just upsets me. I hate when people try to correct me with false facts about a subject I’m passionate about.
