How many banks do you have accounts opened with?

Like is it normal/ok to have multiple banks? Or it's better to stick to one?

4. I want to close the one I have with Wellsfargo, but can’t till I finish paying a card off with them.
It’s been better for me to have two, but that’s more for hiding money from myself so I can save.

@SW-User I'm thinking of opening with a 3rd one, because the accounts will have different purposes. And the one bank, doesn't really satisfy all my needs.
So I wondered if peoplw do that. If it's common or not.

@Dan193 I think two or three is normal. Not sure if the accounts being in different banks is.
