@HootyTheNightOwl I'm going to say an 8 I think you have a lot to deal with.
@CountScrofula I'd say 28... honestly, I'm tired of crying again.

@HootyTheNightOwl I'm sorry. I hope better times come soon.
@CountScrofula Hopefully, they will... I should have a better idea of what is wrong with me by the end of the month (sounds like my consultant already knows - without the results of the other tests he ordered for me) and from there I can start working out what my future might be like.
It's taken five years to get to this point in my life.

@HootyTheNightOwl God I hope you get some certainty and clarity on what's going on. I'm so sorry.

@HootyTheNightOwl i hope you get the results your hoping for
@olderuncle944 Honestly... I don't know how to feel about it. On the one hand, I want it to be what they think it is - on the other hand... I want them to be wrong because its an incurable genetic illness - they can manage my symptoms but I will never have a normal life again.
Deep down, I suspect that they are right in what they are thinking that I have - and that scares me because it means that I will have to rethink most of everything that I have planned to this point for my future... though I am more willing to accept the wheelchair with the help and support of my new man.

@HootyTheNightOwl i see and you have anew dom
@olderuncle944 No... he's not a Dom... I left the lifestyle six months ago because I couldn't find a Dom that I could bond with - but I was able to bond with him even though he is vanilla.
I still get the odd bout of the desire to serve and be of use, though... which creates some issues for me mentally more than anything - especially with the health stuff going on and the fact that he's going through a rough time, too, so contact is reduced.
Now, I go back every so often to keep the Doms of SW on Their toes... only They are a bunch of meanies and don't play along with us!!! 😤

@HootyTheNightOwl aww teasing doms i guess lol have you net your man yet
@olderuncle944 No... I've been shielding since the beginning of March 2020. If I have what they think I have, I am more susceptible to the virus and belong in "Vulnerable people" group. Until I am told that I don't have it, I'm staying put.
I know that I don't have to worry about him giving me Covid19... he's already been through that, so he should be immune - at least, for a while.
