They are currently going through a form of that. I won't get into specifics, but if you follow the news it's quite clear. I met a girl from there, who was raped by someone from a different culture in broad daylight and she couldn't understand it was his fault. She just accepted it as one of those things that is bound to happen, so she no longer goes anywhere alone in her own country.

Coincidental, but not ironic. It's more ironic to get Stockholm syndrome anywhere but Stockholm than in it. Irony's a weird thing that takes the fun out of calling things ironic

Stockholm is beautiful and attractive. Probably that's why it is called SS.
