In what order do you put your socks and shoes on?

Do you go both socks, then both shoes? Or sock and shoe to the same foot, and other sock and shoe?

Sock immediately followed by shoe. That way my sock won't collect anything like animal hair and deposit it in my shoe.

@SooperSarah this is what I do, and received a confused reaction when someone saw me do it

@itsok it makes the most sense to finish with a foot rather than go back and forth.

@SooperSarah Okay so either you put your socks and shoes on at the door or you keep your shoes in your bedroom.
Either way, insanity.

@GermanAf I could wear slippers to the mudroom, but I don't. I keep my shoes in my bedroom to avoid clutter in the rest of the house, unless it's snowy or rainy when I come home.
