Have you ever know a light bulb to last for like 50 years? Lol

In my parents house, there are round bulbs in the laundry room that's been in there since the house was built. I think over 50 years ago. Maybe about 60. My dad is just now buying new bulbs for it lol

They stopped making them to last a long time because they couldn’t sell very many. When I was still living in apartments at one apartment they seemed to last 6 weeks-2 month max. I’d buy a dozen light bulbs at a time.
