Why did he do this?

When a guy says to a girl to leave him alone after she hurt him and the girl asks do you really mean that? The guy responds with I'm so hurt and didn't actually say no. Does that mean he does want to see her deep down? He really loved this girl. Will he still think about her and miss her? He also messaged her randomly good night later on. So what does this mean?
