Not really. And depending on the person, complimented maybe?

@solitaire that's bit of strange argument but I can understand if money is a problem, and you're taking turns on expenses?
Usually calculative means thinking ahead. It'd not be so bad, I guess they've meant it as an insult? Like you're not spontaneous?
I think if you feel offended, you feel offended. No point in hiding it, you feel what you feel and it doesn't matter if it's irrational.
Just make sure not to let it guide your behaviors especially if this is going on in a relationship. Talk about it with each other.

He’s a friend/acquaintance. He wanted to meet me and have lunch together. We were arguing over who should buy lunch (he didn’t want to pay and neither did I). Finally I said I’ll get it. He said he was not hungry and did not want to eat. We both went home on empty stomachs. When I went home I cried and I expressed my grief to him via text. All he said was “Ok. Take care”. I could have stayed at home itself :(
I’ll get excited 🎄

Calculative or calculating ? I’ve been called the latter because I consider all my options before a decision.. The person thought I was plotting against her, so it wasn’t a compliment. 🙁
