I'm wondering what kind of person gives personal info out to a stranger in the first place?

@LucyFuhr There are people that take their communication "offline" of SW. There is also a lot of fraud that takes place offline.

@Pfuzylogic: Your question specifically asked about a stranger messaging for info and not someone they've taken "offline".

Ultimately, we're all adults who know better...and we've all heard the horror stories too. If one chooses to open themselves up to that, they better be prepared for whatever comes of it; good or bad.

@LucyFuhr: I am talking about a stranger trying to start the relationship offline within the first few questions/comments. It usually ends up with that person trying to get money. It is a weary process so I cut it short.
I was just curious how people in this community of SimilarWorlds handle this request for personal information i.e. Social norms.
