Whoa! That was a struggle!

Just removed my oven door to clean it. I followed a youtube tutorial...it was easy peasy.....and ..it looked easy to put back on too....but boy it was tricky and i almost lost a fingertip twice!!!
I wont be doing that again for a while!!!
Phew!!!!

@RubySoo I guess I am lucky that it has never occurred to my wife to ask this of me -- maybe because I am the one who does the cooking. And it never occurred to me to do it because, well, you know how men are able to put up with dirt more than women can! lol

@RubySoo I have minimal space between the oven and the island. I had a hard time getting everything in place and lined up. Plus those doors are heavy

did mine recently. couldn't get a rag up to clean the glass. ended up taking the door apart. what a job trying to get the screw holes to line up when I put it back together

Oh dear, some of those oven doors are a right nightmare! Gotta be careful, cleaning it with one less fingertip ain't gonna be pleasant. Good on you for getting it done though, great work! Thankfully not something that needs to be done too often.

I'm lucky to have one where I can easily just remove the inner glass so I don't have to detach the whole door. One of my previous cookers was the kind you needed to remove the door though. No clue how many hours I spent on that and how many expletives were thrown.
