I read your post, and thought, “how many can I do on my toes?” I did five, and to be honest could only get half way down, but that’s because my wrists are weak with arthritis. If it wasn’t for my wrists, I could go all the way down. I’m a woman in my 60s, so there is hope for you yet. Start holding planks, and when you can hold for 1-2 minutes, then try a quarter or half push up, until you build strength.

They work the whole body, especially the core. Keep a hollow body hold, meaning keep your legs, thighs, glutes, abs tense, and don’t hunch your shoulders. I also love pistol planks and reverse planks. The former is quite aerobic, and the latter is great for triceps. You have to build up to those. @FutureIdol
