Only if you're close-minded.

@PerchingDove are u trying to insult me, or do u actually believe that?
@Dan193 I wasn’t assuming you believed that and I hope you don’t. It is close-minded. No one should be judged just because they have tattoos.

@PerchingDove I think that's wrong, because anything we do means something, especially something as permanent as a tattoo. It might not mean desperation, maybe depending on what the tattoo is and where, it could mean different things, but I think there is a common denominator there, which I can't quite figure out yet.
@Dan193 What would you say about someone who got a tattoo simply because they wanted it? No real significant reasoning for it, they just thought it would look good.

@PerchingDove They're sick, very sick. They need medical help asap.

@Dan193 a lot of health professionals believe that tattoos are a good form of therapy, especially if one suffers with a severe mental illness, depression, bipolar borderline personality disorder, self harm. Anxiety. It can help them cope without hurting themselves.

@AlyAngel yeah, but that's kinda what I asked, they do have mental distress.
I think for some it could be a form self harm, but without the scars.
